Weaving the Web

Posted in Experience and Writings on February 6, 2010 by priestesswisdom

There is a deep relaxation that comes when women can be completely open with other women. In this relaxation we can begin to drop into our bodies and find the space to heal from within. As we rest in our feminine energy we are able to be present and hold space for  others to heal and grow. Each time we gather with intention we weave the web of love and light across the world. As we weave we heal our world, Mother Earth, and the collective feminine energy too.

My experience in a women’s circle has had profound effects on my life. When I began I was stuck in an very unhealthy relationship. I was fearful, hurt, emotionally and physically drained. I felt lost and in a fog that I didn’t know how to get out of.

With intention I began my journey and with the help and support of my sisters and guides i began to hear my intuitive voice again.  I found strength and confidence as we bonded and went deeper into our practice. I used the tools and practices we were learning to break free of the negative patterns and attitudes that were holding me back and within two months I felt free and clear. In fact I felt better than I ever had before.

I moved through emotional baggage from all of my past relationships and with that letting go I opened myself up to the universe in light and love. I was feeling my body again, I was feeling mother earth below me, I was feeling a deep bond between myself and the women in our
circle and with all that support I felt Shakti for the first time. The deep feminine energy came into my life and has been a source of healing ever since. In this energy I started a new relationship with myself and a healthy relationship with a new man.

At the end of 6 months I understood why we use the word ‘Priestess’. I felt the benefits of being in sacred space with other women and I discovered that I am walking not only ‘my path’ but the ‘divine path’ through these experiences. Everything I worked through helped me transform myself and find a deeper understanding of life and now I am ready to hold space for other women to do the same.

There is no better time to awaken your Shakti Priestess within. Have you heard the call?

Celebrate the Feminine

Posted in Experience and Writings on January 29, 2010 by priestesswisdom

I was reading this morning from the book “Divine Nourishment” by Mary Lane (www.divinenourshment.net) and when I read this excerpt, all of my body cells lit up… Yes! This is what we are doing here! This is why we are calling for the Shakti Priestess Circle. It is so important for us to come together and connect. Sharing our gifts with eachother will keep us grounded and allow the connection of Mother Earth to raise our Shakti energy. Activated and nourished, we will be grounded, centered, focused, soft and fluid. As we align with our feminine energy our masculine energy will naturally balance bringing us integration. It starts with us. It starts with you. Love, Leah

“We are all in a very powerful time of transforming the shame that creates the
doubt and the waiting. There is a great shift happening. As we go through this shift it
will be almost impossible not to have doubts. It’s normal. But we can do this! Who are
we within those doubts? It’s one thing to have them, it’s quite another to let them dictate
our reality or perception of ourselves.

We are learning to be solid and centered. The Divine Nourishment aligned with
the natural flow is one way that supports us. You may doubt yourself in the moment, but
can you doubt Mother and her love for us?

When you feel your doubts look to your strengths. What gives you strength? I
look to nature as one way of knowing that I am always supported in one way or another.
This brings the love of the Divine Mother into my life. She never lets me down. I don’t
doubt that I am part of a whole, and there are women all over the world who are going
through the same thing I am, and finding their way.

As women we have an extraordinary ability to come together and find that
strength when we can’t see it in ourselves. When we come together for the common
purpose of communion, something extraordinary always happens. Remember the power
of unity. Something is somewhere out there supporting our endeavors and celebrating our
passions. It is reflected back to us all the time. It is holding the space for us to have our
chaos, our darkness.

When all is said and done, women accept each other at a profound level.
Celebrating the Divine Mother is about bringing together and finding the commonality so
we can all heal. Think of your gifts and how they can be given in small ways to other women in
your life. It doesn’t have to cost you money. This ritual between you and other women
opens the door energetically for your gifts to flow. You don’t hoard your gifts and isolate.
Do this expecting nothing in return. Share your gifts ongoing. It will encourage other
women to do the same.

Gather with other women. Celebrate being a woman. The more we celebrate, the
stronger our masculine side will grow. When our feminine is strengthened, our masculine
is strengthened.

We chose a female body. If we strengthen our feminine, our masculine will rise to
the occasion to be that balance to provide that outward movement, that power to bring
forth into the world the glorious gifts, ideas and imaginings we have growing inside us
each day. As men strengthen their masculine in the true sense, their feminine will rise up
also and bring balance to them.”

Women’s Healing Circles: Unlock the Power

Posted in Experience and Writings on January 13, 2010 by priestesswisdom

As we find ourselves this lifetime as women on this chaotic planet, let us plug in to what can give us peace and solitude.  My experiences in Sacred Woman’s Circles has been that I feel completely safe to let go.  I find great comfort in being able to be myself and grow in a safe environment free from judgment and competition. Words cannot express or describe the feeling of working through individual and collective trials together. Listening, sharing issues, joys and triumphs with Sisters of all ages, classes,  and ethnicity brings a presence to the moment. Dancing with one another and feeling the perfection of every body type. The strength behind every woman . . .We are all beautiful!  I leave feeling the love and acceptance.

Women need women only spaces to freely and safely express themselves without judgment . . . to accept love, beauty and truth from her sisters with a knowing that we all have respect and trust for all that we go through.  Where we embrace our light and our shadows.  A place where we can remember our power and flex it,  heal our own wounds and those of women globally, where we can see that it is ok for us as women to set our own boundaries, where we can learn from eachother and share wisdom together.

This union of women is what will help to heal this unbalanced world that we live in.

With Love,

Leah Rose
